Putting it all Together

Now you have learnt about all the aspects of 12 bar blues, it is time to put all you have learnt together.

Start by playing the bass lines to develop a strong beat. Play it at about 90 - 100 bpm.

Then, add tune in from the blues scale. To vary your playing add some top harmonies to some of the black notes and add in some of the other riffs.

ONE IMPORTANT NOTE, don't feel you have to play something in the right hand ALL THE TIME. This can make your playing quite difficult to listen to. Add some silence in the right hand to break up your playing and give it some shape and phrasing.
